But they basically just gave an endorsement to a guy that insults, assaults, belittles, and marginalizes women, made him a role model for their sons and an example for their daughters that guys like this win and there's not much they can do about it. Which is fine if you want the world run by guys like this, boys to grow up with a fraternity mentality, and girls to hope for little more than being a Kardashian.
What was the counterbalance that could possible justify this? I really don't know.

Mrs. Impaler was/is outraged, but maybe (well, clearly) to a lot of women it's no big deal, or exaggerated or... There were 2 key moments for me last night - when we turned the coverage on and saw that he was leading Florida - that was a "whoa" moment. And then when I saw that college educated white women in Virginia broke even, I was sure he was going to win...
