Bland platforms? I don't think you know what the word "bland" means. Trumps platform was the most extreme I've seen in my lifetime.

Trudeau was elected as an MP in 2008 and legitimately made his way through the ranks of the liberal party over those 8 years. Hardly no experience, every Prime Minister is "new" at one point.

Either way my comment wasn't just directed at you but the comparison has been made many times already on this site and it is in my opinion, totally unfounded. No one was shocked that Trudeau won. No one said "Trudeau could never actually win".
