Daigle shared very little with him as a player. Almost nothing.

So any comparison was a poor one.

I maintain that was not the prevailing opinion.

I think a projection that he could be a Lafontaine was bang on. Obviously fell well short, but that was a more reasonable description of his ceiling based on the type of player and overall talent level.
