I have never not been in favour of a MacKinnon / Monahan swap. I'm on record for saying I'd add Klimchuk and Poirier every time, too.
But Colorado would still never do it for the same reason.

However, he was playing RW. I do think Backlund would be a good C between those two though,
if Bennett can become a true #1C. MacKinnon is a good centre, but he wasn't playing centre at the WC so expecting the exact same dynamic is optimistic.
