Does that matter? He is signed as of right now to play in Canada for the next 2 years. I would not trade Hamilton for him, but i would gladly trade Gio for him. Even after 2 years if he still does not want to play in Canada you can trade him. Really think flames need to get out of Gio's contract as soon as possible. That said, can't see the Jets wanting to do that trade.
