I take BCAA's every day. My diet isn't all that great (some days I don't eat until 1PM) so the morning BCAA drink and protein shake gets me through.

I read somewhere you should time when you take them (something to do with insulin spike) but I don't know exactly. I usually take them 10 minutes before a workout with a protein shake.
