When i worked on the rigs I often had back pain from strenuous work. One day it was so bad I couldn't bend over to tie my shoes. I went to the doctor....he took x-rays and did an exam. He told me....there is nothing wrong with you. Bullsh*t. Went to the chiropractor....he did some cracks. Of course the pain wasn't gone instantly but I could feel a difference in a matter of hours. The next day the pain was more than half gone.

I think if you can find a really good chiropractor they are very good for your health. I looking into back pain once and I found that if you only have the weight of 1 quarter pressure on your nerve in your spine.....it effectiveness is reduced by 60%.

Like I said....find a good one that knows what they are doing. It can be dangerous especially when neck manipulation is involved. I don't agree with the idea that subloxation (or what ever it is called) is the cause for diseases....maybe things like numbness or carple tunnel disorder.
