The thing that depresses me is that if the team was this bad last year with that goaltending the Flames likely draft Matthews or Laine. Now this season they have good goaltending so we are looking at another 6th overall pick.

Depressing for sure, but also perfectly aligned with the Flames ownership goal of selling hope until March every season.
