They will just end up getting Crosley junk record players. Please don't ever considering buying one of those. They will ruin your records with heavy 6+ gram tracking force eroding your record grooves.
$30 records are on the expensive side and the selection will be generic stuff. You can do better at the actual dedicated record stores in Calgary.
