I was having the worst pain in my cheek/headache for a week when I was 20, so I figured it was my wisdom teeth causing the issue since I have major crowding. Go in the Tuesday before American Thanksgiving and had three pulled. Wasn't put under and with the Vicodin they gave me for the pain, it wasn't a bad experience. Was even at work the next day for the busiest day of the year. I was in Grocery at the time and Wednesday before Thanksgiving is usually the #1 sales say for most stores.
The thing that sucked, was the major cheek/jaw/headache came back a week later. Turns out I had an abscess that was causing the pain. So basically had my wisdom teeth removed for no reason. The root canal the following week was probably the worst pain I ever felt, or so I thought.
Had an abscess a couple years ago on my back upper left tooth. That was even worse pain. They didn't give me enough Novocaine at first so I felt the wire they use to file the roots to the nerve in excruciating detail.
Hemi-Cuda, get your wisdom teeth pulled ASAP. If they have confirmed cavities already, you're playing with fire on getting an infection and a root canal is a lot worse than an extraction in my opinion.
