No one is saying we're out of time here or that the window is closing but this is the first real year with the window open and the Flames are currently crapping the bed.
Saying we're rebuilding still is just trying to make yourself feel better. Were you expecting a bottom 10 finish? Were you expecting them to be sellers at the deadline? If the answer to either of those is "no" then they're not rebuilding.
5 years of "rebuilding" is starting to get into "extended rebuild" range and if they regress this year then it's not going to look great.
