No one is saying we're out of time here or that the window is closing but this is the first real year with the window open and the Flames are currently crapping the bed.
Saying we're rebuilding still is just trying to make yourself feel better. Were you expecting a bottom 10 finish? Were you expecting them to be sellers at the deadline? If the answer to either of those is "no" then they're not rebuilding.

Did they make a coaching change because in the GM's words Bob "took them as far as he could"? Yes.
Did they go big game hunting on July 1 for a UFA winger with playoff experience and tons of awesome leadership? Yes.
Did they clean out the awful goaltending from last season? Yes.
The rebuild is clearly almost over. I'm inclined to agree with you. This is a cap team, they can't be picking at 6 or higher again at the draft.
