Evan Shay and Morgan Ruig are just your average amateur golfers. As good mates since high school, they love hitting the links together, but will be first to admit they’re probably more accomplished on the 19th hole — the clubhouse bar — than they are on the golf course.

But that didn’t stop them from pulling off one epic sporting prank.

The prank didn’t get them in any trouble, though it quickly became clear to their caddies at the tournament that they were actually rather terrible at golf.

They came second last, just ahead of the Nepalese ambassador’s 15-year-old daughter, according to the duo.

“I hit 120 which apparently is not very good, and she [the caddie] thought it would bring great shame upon my family,” Ruig, 28, said.

“I think they saw through our story on the first tee,” Shay, 28,
