it's been years since i had mine out - i did top and bottom of one side, then went back for top/bottom on the other side
it sounds like you guys had it waaaaaay worse than me. i did not get knocked out either time. the worst for me was the two bottom wisdom teeth had fused to my jaw, so they had to literally get snapped off. the first time i gave the dentist a "what the hell was that look!!!". he just smiled and told me the tooth was fused to my jaw. at least i knew what to expect when i went back.
did it hurt - well yea... getting teeth pulled is never fun, but it wasn't that bad... until i made the mistake of eating nachos too soon after getting them removed - that hurt!!
