The real question is why haven't the Flames "best" players been the best players for the majority of the games? I'm not going to pin it all on coaching, but it is one possibility among many. I can't shake that old "Iginla Country Club" feel around this team right now.

I don't think there is a "country club" feel to the team. A player like Brouwer is very vocal and would not put up with it.
On a side note to the "Iginal country club" i blame Jeremy Roenick for not putting an end to it. He was almost a flame until Gretzky called him to play for Arizona. Roenick would have nipped that in the bud within a week.
