It was our son's first birthday yesterday, so we both took the day off and brought him to Market Mall because we could put him in the stroller if he got tired. I was pretty shocked at how busy the mall was at noon, considering it was a weekday.
A lot of stores didn't participate or "ran out of candy" at noon. Lame
On our cul-de-sac, we had maybe 20 kids, but we left the house at 730 to take our son trick or treating around the block to Grandma's house down the street.
It was my first time out trick or treating since I was in junior high. It was a really fun experience taking my son out for his first time. He's not walking yet, but I can only imagine how much fun his birthdays will be going forward
