Grant, I wouldn't have sent in the deal if I didn't think it was fair. I don't happen to think considering contract and rating, Jokinen and Perry are that far off which is why i added another roster player to the deal. Anyways...
You know what would be really neat ...if a rubric was developed and a value given to each of those items above giving GM's the option to assess potential trades before sending into the league.
For example, it would be good to know, of the above criteria, what has the most weight/value, what has the least etc when deciding if a trade is fair or not? That way each player in the trade is given a value and it makes it easier to assess and make a decision to approve or reject. That also takes out any subjectivity of the decision making process.
I know having a tool like that would be very beneficial to me. I would also be happy to work on it if I can get some direction on how much weight there is on each item.
