I'm a guy who's tried over and over to get it in to people's head that we are going down a dangerous path, one I honestly think we are too late to stop much of the destruction coming and rely only on human innovation and science to help stave it off, of course greed might save us when those who discover anything that will combat or clean up our planet will become trillionares..
Having said that, what the hell is the obession with the oil sands. Canada represents what 3% of the worlds pollution? China is making new coal plants like crazy.
I'll watch this later, but as to people asking why these high profile celebs or politicians do this, its because the vast majority of you lazy bastards don't watch normal science documentaries otherwise, you know its true!
