Seriously, the Mexican government produced a pamphlet outlining safetly tips for people trying to sneak into the US. It would seem that Mexico would on some level like it if more people successfully snuck across the border, as it would mean fewer poor people in their own country.
Mexico will NEVER decide that they want to jail people in their own country for getting caught illegally within the US. If it is such a hassle for these people to be jailed in the US, what makes you think Mexico would even consider taking on this burden?

This is a very viable solution. The United States could very easily pay the Mexican government for jailing their own citizens that the United States turns over. This could work out well for both countries. The United States could pay Mexico 1/5 of what it costs to imprison an illegal here (our facilities are bursting at the seams and it costs a lot to house these people) and come out on top. Mexico would then have an income stream and a new source of employment. It would be much cheaper for the United States to do this, having Mexico build the prisons and such, than trying to build a wall and still dealing with the issue. Mexico would be all over this IMO. Money is money is money, and the Mexico government wouldn't give two squirts about its people.
