I know what you mean by "grain of the thread" and I agree 100% with your comment.
I just wanted to note that people take this thread sometimes a bit too seriously, and it is a lot of fun with some very witty stuff, but Mrs. Anderson's cancer is so far beyond hockey games or sports that it does provide a bit of reality to us all.
Regardless of whom was left or applauded Craig Anderson at the rink, it is human to wish the best and provide the support that teammates on all different teams need during difficult times.
All of us have been through the Cancer thing with someone we love and care about, and I cannot fathom how hard it must have been for Craig Anderson to play, never mind to play as well as he did.
I just wanted to say for me personally that although I have posted some pretty crazy stuff about the Oilers on this thread and its predecessors, I have respect for Craig Anderson and his wife and family, and I applaud with the Oilers and Senators fans what Craig Anderson did when he played last night.
