That's a flat out lie as 2012 is not that long ago. There's plenty of industrial lighting rated for -30 to -40 degree ambient temperatures. The bridge was bleeding red and someone obviously made the decision to save money here as I have a hard time believing the engineers handling the job would approve indoor lighting for Calgary's ambient climate.
