I guess that's a flip side of the conversation, too. I try not to be a spoiler person. I had read GoT long before the TV show made it, and so for a while co-workers who were tv only would ask me "Why did this happen?" "Who's so and so?" "Blank's gonna get it, aren't they?" and I'd always make sure that they wanted to know the answer. I'd often also preface it with "Well, this is how it happened in the books, the tv show may do something different..."

I do try not to be a jerk about it, wantonly spoiling stuff for other people. I have accidentally before, though, and I likely will again. But I do try to be careful about other folks experiences.
