Geaudreau was flying in the World Cup because he had room. There were other threats on his line. If Geaudreau is perceived to be the only real threat, then time and space will be limited to him. This is not an excuse, it is a reality. Geaudreau must learn to fight through it. Backlund and Frolik had partial camps and played in the World Cup, they also were advantaged to be paired together coming out of the World Cup.
Perhaps, the Flames shouuld make Geaudreau, Backlund, and Frolik the top line and see what happens? Can't get any worse than it is right now.
