A friend of mine told the story of an experience during a Flames training camp month (which was the first for some now widely-recognized players). At the time, they were unknowns but she was a big hockey fan.
She was leaving her doctor's office downtown and turned around from the front desk to walk out when her chin slammed into somebody's forehead. She looked down and said: "oh you're that new player, Johnny Gaudreau... sorry I didn't see you there!"
