I also think a part of it is that compared to other acts Radiohead just doesn't play that many shows, they aren't embarking on these monster 30 date North American tours or 50+ date world tours.

Going back to 2010 it appears Radiohead has played 95 shows total worldwide in the last 6 years, which compared to acts like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers (239) or Coldplay(291) makes Radiohead shows relativity scarce.
