You really see a lot of big changes?
Shapiro brought in Liriano, Happ, and re-signed Estrada.
Sanchez and Stroman are under team control, as well as Osuna and Biagini. Trading any of those solid young arms doesn't seem like something Shapiro would do.
I don't see any changes to the rotation because that would be pretty stupid IMO.
He needs to rebuild the bullpen around Osuna and Biagini though.
Trading Martin would also be a dumb move, because he has a lot to do with how good the pitching staff is IMO.
Travis and Pillar are under team control and trading Tulo or Donaldson just for the sake of change wouldn't be smart.
Shapiro also brought in Upton and re-signed Smoak.
They've also said they plan to offer EE a fair deal in hopes of bringing him back.
I dunno, I guess he could blow it up but that doesn't make a lot of sense right now.
Seems more likely they shore up the bullpen, fill in the vacant outfield spots from within and take another shot at the post season with the squad they have while continuing to restock the system.
