Not saying it would hurt him. I think that playing 12-15 minutes against NHL players will force him to up his skill level a lot faster than going 20-22 minutes against junior opponents. Participating in professional practices, seeing the faster game and having to make adjustments to real competition will force him to improve faster than playing against weaker opponents. He's proved what he can do in the playoffs, he's carried the puck, he's shown he is more than capable of playing an NHL game. 20 minutes in junior won't teach him like having to deal with a guy like Drew Doughty will.
