I do not feel smug and superior at all, Dion.
Not at all.
There are many excellent posters here sharing nothing but their thoughts about hockey. The humour is often a welcome diversion.
But there is far more noise than humour, or thoughts about hockey.
I was simply trying to raise the level of discourse on CalgaryPuck.
It often gets so bogged down with "he said, she said" crap, and worse, that to read a viewpoint, articulately related, is really a breath of fresh air!
Is that so wrong?
Who doesn't want to share their passions with others and to learn from contrary viewpoints?
Does the fact that I choose the words that I am comfortable using in my everyday life lessen my contributions?
If that is the case, I may look elsewhere to share my love of hockey.
I suspect that others might share my passion for the sport and our team.
We will find out together.
