No threat of peril from me, you understand. I find many of the opinions posted on CP to be of value. The threat may come from unexpected sources...perhaps 'friends' that have been close by for years.

Some threads here can form interesting debates, with complete and honest context about the team, the coaches, and hockey in general.
Others can prove to contain comedic gold among the serious thoughts.
In fact, some may appear to border on satirical genius, delivered with such subtlety you might not even recognize it.

Then the viewpoints are rendered valueless. They have no meaning at all, except to the original poster.
Except of course, if they share an Emma Stone gif. This is an exception to the rule. There may be others...
If an Emma Stone gif (or similar) is the only rule exception, why are many posters so happy to share otherwise empty thoughts or exhibit poor critical thinking skills?
