This appears to be the flight log from Flightaware, if you click on the track log you'll note that the last confirmed report (from Vancouver Centre) shows a descent rate of 2200 feet per minute.

You can see that all reports after that one are simply Flightaware estimating the aircraft position. Had it still been flying Calgary ATC would have picked it up and the flight map would have shown the green line track until landing at Springbank instead of the grey estimate line.
