Anyone calling this to be his last contract with Calgary is jumping the gun. 6 or 8, the likelihood of it being the last was the same. 6 years is an eternity in hockey terms, who knows where both the Flames or JG will be when this ends. 0 need for disappointment or trying to read anything into it, just be happy he's locked in at a great AAV for the foreseeable future.
