Last night I spent in the company of a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Greaser fans. There was broad consensus that Kris Russell was the #2 player on the ice during Saturday's game against the Canucks. Perhaps he was, perhaps he wasn't. I asked if Tier 1 and 2 fans should be happy when a player who has had no preseason training, and just signed, is the 2nd best player on the ice? Concerned looks back and forth.

Also, it seems as if the Mullet is a really nice place to go to a hockey game unless you have a couple of the $20 beers; apparently the bathrooms are a mess and broad agreement from the Tier 1 and Tier 2 fans that it is just as bad as Rexall and Commonwealth. They actually spent more time complaining about the bathrooms than they did talking about the upcoming season. it didn't take long to hear 5-1 on cups though, although the 10 year drought is a great comeback!

There was even a canucks fan there, who proclaimed that, although he attended the riots, and was actually literally there in the middle of them ("both of the big ones" was said with pride), he wasn't "in" the riots. I asked if that was because his loot wasn't humblebrag worthy! But that's for the Vancouver is no good thread!
