Sports is generally a release to real life, but sometimes life is heavy to the point that you really can't get into your "releases". This fall that was the case for me. Didn't "feel" like the playoffs. First time ever my team was in the playoffs and I didn't feel any different, I didn't really care. Very VERY Thankful for a lot, I got a ton of breaks over the past two weeks... like more than I deserve, to the point when it came to sports I really didn't care.

I'm happy for most Jays fans (not the beer can throwing ones, not the blind ones that are being arse wipes) but most of them. Guys like Donaldson, Pillar, Martin, Barney, Tulo, Carrera, Saunders, Upton, Sanchez, Happ, Estrata, Stroman, deserve all the success they get.

The post-game interviews from Donaldson and Pillar, despite questions setting them up for the d*bag responses were nothing but class. Hats off to them.

In fact, I think it'd be kind of cool to say that the last four MLB games I was at I saw a team that was in the World Series.

At the end of the day, the fact that my unborn little one is progressing on a healthy track, which was in question 2 weeks ago, I really don't care that my ball team is out... I've never experienced a championship, and now if I ever do experience one, I'll get to celebrate with my child. How freakin' cool is that?

Congrats Jays fan. Only game I truly got to watch was tonight and it was fun. Good luck the rest of the way.
