Question, when solving that Exotic pulse rifle puzzle does everyone in the fireteam need to have the puzzle or could someone who's already done it before help out?

Once it's done you get 2 prototype cores that you can pick up from Shiro. 1 for the second puzzle, and another for the third puzzle. The first puzzle I think you just need to be in a fireteam with 1 of each class then enter the code for each. Not sure though. I was able to enter a team with stryker and his friend on that first puzzle and they were able to sync it even though I didn't have the core.
I have the quest on my warlock, and titan, and it's done on my hunter so I can help out if people need 1
