These problems should have been fixed a long time ago. The Bennett contract and Elliot extenson, and well as expansion draft preparation should be what is occupying the GM's time now. What happened to the 2014-15 Brad who could do no wrong?

Uh okay. Sure, why don't you tell Lewis Gross and Bennett and Elliot's agent to hurry up and negotiate because it would make you feel better if it was accomplished now.
Seriously? You realize it takes two to negotiate a contract right? Just because Treliving wanted it done in the summer doesn't mean Gross isn't going to drive this down to the wire to extract as much as he can out of the Flames. You really think Treliving wanted it to drag out until now? From what is sounds like, this week was the first time that Gross has even moved below the $8 million mark. So should Treliving have just giving Johnny the $8 million please and blew the cap out?
