Keeping PTOs around as long as you can is classy, it gives them the best chance possible of signing somewhere before the bell strikes 12.

Exactly, the Flames didn't bring anyone to Vancouver. May we can agree to disagree, but the last pre-season game should be fairly realistic overall. It's the last chance to emulate a regular season game.
I don't think the Flames should be sacrificing solid game practice and team chemistry just to be classy to a few PTOs.
Gulutzan and has a connection with Higgins. Treliving knows Korpikoski. Burke probably likes Grossman's truculence. I don't think any of these guys deserve to make the team, but I would not be surprised to see one of them get a contract.
