Wideman would get top pp time and possibly 2nd pair minutes in Edmonton. He wold be arguably their best offensive Dman.
For the Flames they still lack RW depth and as of today they do not have a winger to play on the top line. Chaisson has been horrible and Brouwer looks to have a home in the Bennett line.
Deal makes a bit of sense but still unlikely due to the rivalry.
