In N Out is good for value, quality, and taste. Plus the line ups are nowhere near as long as Shake Shack's.
Shake Shack's burgers and fries tastes better though, especially with their fried stuffed portabello mushroom (shack stack) burger. Their cheese sauce for their crinkle cut fries are awesome too. I haven't tried their shakes but I've heard they're awesome.
Has anyone been to Burger's Priest in Toronto and Edmonton? They are the closest to Shake Shack in my opinion. Delicious burgers!

Had Shake Shack at JFK last night - and they have a special bacon cheesburger right now where they use that cheese sauce on the burgers instead of a slice.
