So, uh, stumbled on this last night. It's a show that attempts to paint the Edmonton Airport as some desolate hellhole that only insane people would fly in and out of. When I read the show name, I thought I'd be getting something like Ice Pilots. Like the Oilers, there is a lot of failure and disappointment here.

One of the problems with shows like this is they run 3 or 4 story lines, jump between them every minute, and when they get back to each one, they summarize what happened in the previous one minute clip. Like the viewer is so stupid they can't remember what just happened 5 minuets ago and need to be reminded a passenger lost their ID. Oh, the suspense.

The other issue is that it played like an advertisement for how good Air Canada customer service agents are. In the course of the show, they solved 2 critical problems for passengers, doing things like waving fees, holding planes, etc and gave another one a free suitcase. Right, like Air Canada has ever given anyone a free anything before. I'm on to you.
And you expected something different from the CBC? I'm surprised they didn't show Westjet employees groping girls in the search line, forcing little kids into dog cages to save dollars and beating grandma and grandpa until heroic Air Canada Employees swooped in to save the day.
