Don't have much to add that others haven't mentioned.
PTO's: Don't sign any of them.
-Higgins was invisible aside from one takeaway (Which he then turned over immediately)
-Vey had a few decent shifts but it's not even close to enough to make the team over Freddie or Hatheway (edit: Forgot he has a 2 way, not PTO. He stays in Stockton imo)
-Grossman. Solid fight, but crappy player. Too slow, loses his man in the d zone, and offensively? Well he tee'd himself up for a strong slapshot into an open lane, only to send the puck damn near vertical straight into the netting.
As for the rest of the team:
-Elliot: Just so good. So calm and just knows exactly where the puck is. Watching him play is amazing. When I say he's calm, I mean it. He has absolutely no extra or wasted movements.
-Bennett: Yup, going to have a breakout year. I expect him to solidify himself as a legit 2C
-Brouwer: Had a quiet but good game. Fanned on a couple grade A scoring chances but was solid everywhere on the ice. There was a scrum in the second period where a Coyote player shoved Tkachuk right onto his ass, and immediately Brouwer skated over and had some words with that player
-Tkachuk: He's making the team. There's no doubt in my mind. Everyone knows and is talking about his goal and shootout goal but what I really noticed is he's good in his own end as well. Always had a man covered and ferocious on the backcheck
-Chaisson: Meh. Had a few chances but didn't get close to finishing them. Didn't really stand out. This is the guy that'll just move around the lineup and sit in the press box from time to time
-Shinkaruk: Had a quite came with a few nice surprise offensive chances. I think he makes the team this year as well
-Ferland: Looked pretty good out there. I think he's who ends up playing on the first line
-Bouma: Had a strong game. 10-15 goals this season wouldn't be out of reach imo.
