No suspension, Vesey should learn how to take a hit. Defensemen get hit from behind every game, multiple times a game. The difference? They expect to be hit and prepare for it. They don't put their head down and try to be fancy. How is Gudas, any defencemen really suppose to know that at the last split second the forward is going to turn his back? We have the benefit of slow motion replay and don't really realize how fast those plays happen. Once you commit to the hit you are well, pretty much committed to to it. If you don't commit to the hit? You're probably not playing in the NHL.
