Not a VW question, but a little more general: I got a tire shop to put on a set of Goodyear Ultragrip winter tires on the stock wheels of my Civic last week, and is it just the tires not being top of the line that makes the handling feel funny at highway speeds? When I turn the wheel at highway speeds, it feels like the car has a delay in responding, kind of like it's on a slippery road. You don't notice it at lower speeds. Could it be another issue with how the tires were mounted on the wheels?
If I just got tires that are loose on handling, then that's fine, I'll get used to it - I just want to know if this is something I should look further in to.
Thanks!
