Actually saying "could care less" is a perfectly acceptable phrase and there is quite a bit of evidence to support the use of the phrase, despite it seeming to be illogical.
The internet's pedantic obsession with this one seemingly random idiom is really strange.

I'm a former editor. If you mean that you don't care at all, then it's not acceptable.
Couldn't care less means that you don't care even a little.
Could care less means that you do care to some degree.
Maybe someone should start a grammar thread. It may be popular.
