I can see the argument for the hit being ok, but I don't feel that way.

I think 10-15 year ago this is a fantastic hit. While I don't think Hjalmarsson targeted the head, I do think that most big hits should be gone. They almost always involve a vulnerable player.

It's the intent to do physical damage to another player. It's something hockey doesn't need.
