The Flames aren't insulting anyone with a mid 6 offer.
Gaudreau's agent isn't insulting anyone with an 8+ offer.
It's a negotiation.
But recent signings, the fact that he has 5 RFA years and the fact that he can't be offer sheeted pretty much means Gaudreau's side has to come to Jesus if this thing has a chance at getting done.
Love that Bob McKenzie has jumped into this as well. He's too classy to suggest that Gaudreau's camp is out to lunch, but he sure spelled out the leverage. On that stage it can't hurt things at all.
