I don't know how much I believe the whole he doesn't wanna play for Calgary anymore thing. He had a loophole where he could have just gone back to school for the 4th year and signed with whoever he pleased. He even went against his mother's wish and promised her he will finish his education in the summer.
The Flames, fans, city has done nothing to change his mind otherwise, where he has soured on anything. His parents were treated like royalty whenever they are in the Dome watching him play. Unless the whole negotiation process has made him change his mind then I don't know.
I just want him to sign dammit!
