What he needs to say is something like this: As someone who generated economic activity equivalent to more than, for example, any random 25,000 citizens, I have directly or indirectly both caused and paid taxes in an amount few in America ever had. That at the end of a tax year my affairs do not require further payments, I know how to run a business. Should the tax laws change, I'll continue to be fully compliant and would be happy to pay more tax, if I knew that money would go to supporting building this nation.
