I'm not calling it a bad hit because the angle on that video isn't great, but for the same reason I'm not going say that it was an okay hit either. It's possible the players on the ice saw it better. It does look like it might've been quite high or somewhat from the blindside.
I do tend to lean on the side that the players on the ice might have gotten a better look at it, and thus they might have a better idea of what kind of a hit it was exactly.
Plus there's always the possibility that there was something going on before that hit. I don't know. Luckily not our problem.
