I don't see bad leadership at all. I see good leadership. MacArthur is a vet returning from injury. Of course his team-mates are going to defend him.
And Sieloff is a nobody, new kid.
Very unfortunate for MacArthur, but that is the nature of concussions. Once you've had one, you may (but not necessarily will) be prone to more. It is a very realistic scenario to be cleared for play, but then have another one. It is definitely a grey area.
I would think the Sens have no choice here but to trade Sieloff.

Sorry, a kid unintentionally causing an injury to a teammate does not deserve that kind of response. Sure, I have no problem with Ryan getting involved immediately after the hit, but Neil's and others' actions afterwards?
Sieloff didn't go out and try to injure MacArthur. The hit was borderline to begin with, and that is Sieloff's game. It's the only way he'll make the NHL.
He's young, with a new team. He needed support, not something to isolate him from the team even further. It's now Sieloff versus the Ottawa Senators. That is beyond terrible leadership. It's absolutely embarrassing.
