I don't think the hit was that bad from Sieloff's point of view. However, I completely understand the reaction.

I don't see bad leadership at all. I see good leadership. MacArthur is a vet returning from injury. Of course his team-mates are going to defend him.
And Sieloff is a nobody, new kid.
Very unfortunate for MacArthur, but that is the nature of concussions. Once you've had one, you may (but not necessarily will) be prone to more. It is a very realistic scenario to be cleared for play, but then have another one. It is definitely a grey area.
I would think the Sens have no choice here but to trade Sieloff.
